Capturing Highland Beauty
Newhall Mains
Newhall Mains is a re-invention of the traditional “Mains” building, located on the Black Isle in the Highlands. A beautiful, family-run property that has been painstakingly restored into luxury accommodation and a unique events space that has become a leader in Highland Hospitality in recent years.
Newhall Mains needed a wedding brochure that not only captured the beauty and distinct character of the 200-year-old building but incorporated their entire ethos and vision.
Our Approach
Our approach to this project was to produce a piece of creative that was comparable to the dramatic restoration of the building itself. Intentionally avoiding over-used and dated wedding aesthetics, in favour of a more refined and considered design.
Attention to Detail
Careful consideration was taken in the choice of paper stocks and special finishes in order to create a tactile and high-end feel that would sit in line with their exclusive offering. Non-traditional wedding imagery and beautiful interior shots were brought to the forefront to capture the attention of any potential guests. Whilst a minimal approach to layout and typography allowed key messaging to be communicated at a glance.
“The creative that Shine came up with for Newhall Mains was really impressive. The designs were elegant and matched the style of the property perfectly and the joy of working with SHINE was I knew they would come up with something unusual while still meeting the brief and pushing the boundaries.”
